Why We Started Pickled Garden
We love pickles. Really love them.
But somewhere along the way, traditional store-bought pickles stopped delivering—over-salty, one-note flavors, preservatives, and very little crunch. At the same time, we realized something surprising: making incredible pickles at home is actually easy, healthy, and far more cost-effective than buying them… yet almost nobody does it.
That disconnect is what sparked Pickled Garden.
Homemade pickling shouldn’t feel intimidating or time-consuming. With the right spice blend, fresh ingredients, and a little patience, anyone can create pickles that are brighter, crunchier, and more flavorful than anything on a grocery store shelf. We saw an opportunity to simplify the process and elevate the results—without sacrificing quality or creativity.
Pickled Garden was created to make home pickling accessible to everyone. Our all-natural, globally sourced spice blends are designed to help you craft incredible pickles (and reusable brines) using the vegetables and fruits you already love. No shortcuts. No unnecessary additives. Just better flavor, better ingredients, and better pickles—made right at home.
Because once you taste a pickle you made yourself, there’s no going back.
Every Jar a Celebration
Why We Started Pickled Garden
We started Pickled Garden because store-bought pickles never quite delivered what we wanted. They were convenient, sure—but flat, over-salted, overly processed, and built for shelf life instead of flavor. The crunch was inconsistent. The spices were muted. And the vegetables themselves felt like an afterthought.
At the same time, we kept coming back to a simple truth: the best pickles we’d ever eaten were always homemade. When you control the vegetables, the spices, and the brine, everything changes. Flavor gets brighter. Texture stays crisp. And each ingredient actually matters.
Pickled Garden was born from the belief that making incredible pickles at home shouldn’t be complicated or intimidating. With thoughtfully crafted spice blends and a simple process, anyone can make pickles that are fresher, more flavorful, and more personal than anything on a grocery shelf.
This is about bringing the craft back to pickling—honoring the vegetable, elevating the spice, and giving people the tools to make something truly better on their own terms.
